This service provides a structured, evidence-informed ADHD assessment for adults, designed to support psychiatrists with clear, clinically useful information for diagnostic clarification and treatment planning.
Overview
The assessment is suitable for patients presenting with:
attentional or concentration difficulties
executive functioning challenges (organisation, follow-through, planning)
longstanding patterns suggestive of ADHD
overlapping presentations where differential diagnosis is required
The process is designed to:
clarify whether ADHD is likely present
differentiate from overlapping conditions (e.g. anxiety, mood, trauma-related patterns)
provide a structured, clinically interpretable report to support psychiatric review

detailed clinical interview (developmental and current presentation)
use of validated ADHD measures (e.g. DIVA-5, ASRS)
consideration of differential diagnoses and comorbid factors
integration of findings into a structured clinical formulation report
Reports are structured to support clinical decision-making and include:
summary of presenting concerns
relevant developmental and clinical history
test results with interpretation
diagnostic formulation (where appropriate)
clear, clinically relevant recommendations

Process
1–2 assessment sessions (Telehealth, Australia-wide)
completion of questionnaires prior to session
report provided within approximately 1–2 weeks
